As a birth and postpartum doula I realize that birthing women need to feel supported and valued, they need to feel heard and comforted. They need to know what is happening with their bodies and babies. I am overwhelmed with the desire to help solve these problems and give these mothers the birth experience and support they were meant to have. I have been so fortunate to have the Father’s hand upon me as I learn and grow, and I rely on Him for every step I take. I have also been so fortunate to have a mother that has served as a doula for over 11 years, along with having over 10 children herself I have been blessed to experience pregnancy and birth in its many varying facetes. The joy that supporting a mother as she brings forth her child into the world is unlike anything else in the world. I want to be apart of the change in the dilapidated birth system and I want to show women that they can have the wonderful birth experience they hope for, and that birth is normal until proven otherwise. I hope to be of service to you

Labor and Birth Assistance: In ancient Hebrew, the term 'azar' means to help, support, or aid, which is essential during childbirth. Meanwhile, 'harah' refers to the one with child, emphasizing the importance of a birth doula in providing childbirth education and support. As a birth doula, I provide ways to help ease the stress and pain of childbirth using breathing techniques, Scriptural affirmations, comfort measures, and positions to manage the intensity of contractions while offering encouraging support to your partner. My goal is to help both parents feel a genuine sense of accomplishment, bonding, and relief through childbirth education and support! Postpartum Care Support: My job as your birth doula doesn’t end once childbirth is over. I will stay in close contact with you after your birth and visit you to provide non-medical support to the family following the arrival of your baby, with a focus on the wellbeing of both the mother and the baby. I offer families valuable information on the mother’s emotional well-being and physical recovery from childbirth, guidance on developing a mom/infant care routine, meal preparation, infant soothing techniques, support for infant feeding, light housekeeping, and coping skills for new parents. Childbirth Education Classes: My childbirth education classes are designed to help build your confidence in your body's ability to give birth. My approach offers a Scriptural-based view of labor and birth, including interventions, comfort measures, postpartum preparation, and breastfeeding. I also offer information and counseling, at your own risk, on nutrition and herbal medicine for conception and pregnancy.
