About me

My name is Cherie Schmidt. I am a licensed RN in the state of Minnesota. I retired a year ago as a triage nurse in an OB/GYN office. I worked there for 11 years. I have worked in Neonatal ICU, Newborn Nursery, did mother/baby nursing, and was a board certified lactation consultant and practiced for 10 years with inpatient and outpatient clients. I have been a doula for close friends. The goal is to have a healthy mom, baby, and help the partner get through pregnancy, childbirth, and new parenting. I also want to help children get through the experience of being a new sibling. I have been attended hundreds of deliveries and have taught prenatal classes. This position gives me joy. I want to understand your goals and ease the experience before, during, and after childbirth for the whole family! It would be my privilege to help your family during this journey!
