I’m going to need help taking care of my newborn and toddler so i can get some rest in the weeks after birth.

I would like to give birth at home. Our estimated budget is $2500.

I would like to try to give birth naturally, but epidural is not off the table completely, no C-section unless medically necessary. Delayed cord clamping. I'm reaching out because I'm looking for a doula who can provide the support and advocacy I've been missing throughout my pregnancy. Unfortunately, I haven't received the prenatal care I needed for much of my pregnancy due to switching OB-GYNs and dealing with other challenges. As a result, I've often felt dismissed during appointments, and it's been difficult to feel heard or supported by my medical providers. I'm hoping to find a doula who can be a supportive presence during the remainder of my pregnancy, help me prepare for birth, and provide reassurance and advocacy during labor and delivery. Having someone in my corner who will listen, help me ask questions, and support my birth preferences would mean a great deal to me. We are possibly looking for a certified and experienced postpartum doula to help us after the arrival of our newborn. Our main priority is finding someone who is experienced and comfortable providing overnight newborn care, including nighttime feedings, diaper changes, soothing, and helping establish a good sleep routine so the parents can get some rest. We would also appreciate light household help, such as tidying up after the baby and preparing or cooking simple meals for the family.
