About me

I’m a certified Newborn Care Specialist with hands-on experience caring for newborns and supporting families during the early weeks and months of their baby’s life. One of my most meaningful experiences has been caring for four boys within the same family over the years, which allowed me to build a strong, trusting relationship with the family while gaining experience with each baby’s individual needs and personality. I’m experienced with overnight newborn care, bottle preparation and feeding, diapering, burping, soothing techniques, safe sleep practices, establishing age-appropriate routines, and keeping detailed feeding and sleep logs. I understand that every newborn is different, so I take a patient and responsive approach rather than expecting every baby to follow the same routine. I’m dependable, nurturing, attentive, and comfortable working independently overnight so parents can get the rest and support they need. My goal is always to provide excellent care for the baby while helping parents feel comfortable, supported, and confident during the newborn stage.

Service introduction

I provide age-appropriate newborn sleep support focused on establishing healthy sleep foundations rather than formal sleep training during the early newborn stage. This includes creating calming bedtime routines, recognizing sleepy cues and wake windows, supporting day/night differentiation, optimizing the sleep environment, and encouraging safe, developmentally appropriate sleep habits. As babies grow and become developmentally ready, I can work with families to introduce gentle sleep-shaping techniques based on the baby’s age, feeding needs, growth, and the family’s preferences.
