About Cindi

I am a Postpartum Doula pursuing certification through DONA International , located in Greenwich, NY, and looking for my first clients. I have previous birth doula experience, but am focusing on postpartum at this time. I also have some training in lactation support. As a mother of seven, now mostly grown, and a new grandparent, I also bring my personal experience with both hospital and home births. The postpartum season is wonderful and challenging and I look forward to helping parents get off to the best start. I consider it a privilege to serve my clients during this special time.

Postpartum Doula packages and pricing

Very Beginning Package

I am available for 6-8 hours each week for the first 12 weeks postpartum. As a requirement for my certification, I am looking for clients who are willing to: 1. Commit to at least 12 hours total of my services at $20/hour. 2. Allow me to anonymously share my experience with the DONA certification board. 3. Complete an evaluation of my services which will also be presented to the DONA certification board.

What to expect

Every family and situation is different, and I will help meet the individual needs of your life. However, there are some basics that you can expect from me which include caring for the baby while you sleep or shower, help with diapering and feeding, troubleshooting any challenges with breastfeeding, helping with household tasks, such as dishes and laundry, assisting with making meals, and generally helping to smooth the transition in these early weeks of your life with your baby.
