About me

As a Certified Lactation Counselor and Certified Postpartum Doula, my passion lies in educating, supporting, and holding space for all parents of newborn(s). My trainings and experience provide me the opportunity to teach prenatal classes for expecting parents, both privately in the home and in a group setting, and counsel families 1:1 with lactation support. Some of my specialities and services revolve around my knowledge of how to build a lactation foundation in the early weeks, care for a newborn, support the parent(s) based on their individual needs, and create infant routines. I currently work as an educator teaching lactation foundation and newborn care prenatal classes, as a lactation professional doing home visits, and as a nighttime postpartum doula. I'm excited to sit for the IBCLC exam Sept. 2025 to launch my journey as a future IBCLC!

Clarissa was a vital source of knowledge, support, and care during the early weeks of navigating postpartum as a first-time mom. Having her as my postpartum doula helped my husband and I transition into parenthood more smoothly and confidently. My journey with breastfeeding and all things lactation was very challenging for me, and I am so grateful that Clarissa was there to guide me and support me from day one. From my first meeting with her, I could feel her passion for all things lactation and doula work. Her depth of knowledge, patience in answering my questions, and willingness to information share eased a lot of the anxiety and stress I had in making sure my newborn baby was fed and healthy. I know she truly cares about the families and babies she works with, and I can’t recommend her enough for all expecting mothers and families.
