We plan to give birth at a hospital (Kaiser in Redwood City). I'm looking for options that will be 100% covered by our Kaiser health insurance. My birth plan is flexible. Ideally I would prefer an unmedicated VBAC birth, but is flexible if induction or C-section is required. Would be helpful to have a doula that is also well-versed in sleep training. I'd like to first use my insurance benefit if possible. For any out-of-pocket portion, my budget is approximately $4,000 for postpartum support. First-time mother, IVF pregnancy, currently under OB-GYN and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) care due to advanced maternal age (38). Planning a hospital birth.
