Pomona hospital Doula that take anthem blue cross
I plan to give birth in a hospital setting. My budget is a little bit tight but depending on experience I'm open to price. I want to have as natural of a birth as possible. If extremely necessary, I'm open to medical interventions but the most I would like to do as of now is an epidural and even then, I'd like to try to give birth without needing it.
I’m in Riverside and will be delivering at Kaiser Riverside. I’m looking for a doula who bills Kaiser directly and has experience working within the Kaiser system. I need support for prenatal, birth, and postpartum.
We are looking for a doula to provide holistic care and support during my birth.

Hi! My name is Nicole. I was hoping to connect because I’ve been dealing with significant health issues over the past two months chronic pain, severe anxiety, and insomnia. I’m currently 34 weeks pregnant and not doing very well. My due date is January 10th, but my doctor has mentioned the possibility of delivering early given my current state, so things are a bit uncertain right now. Because of everything going on, my husband and I are looking for overnight newborn care to help me rest and recover postpartum. We live in the Ontario/Eastvale area and wanted to see if we could set up a FaceTime call to meet and discuss options. Thank you so much, and I look forward to hearing from you.
I plan to give birth at a hospital and hope to be able to have a VBAC. My budget is between $1500-2500. Background // I previously experienced a traumatic emergency cesarean and was heavily anesthetized during my son’s birth. I was not awake or aware, my partner could not participate, and skin-to-skin was delayed. Because of this, feeling informed, present, and involved in decisions during this birth is very important to me. Priorities // Clear, calm, and transparent communication is very important to me. I value shared decision-making and being asked for consent before interventions whenever possible. My goal is a slow, physiologic labor if medically safe, with freedom to move and change positions. Partner involvement and immediate bonding with my baby are also very important to me. Labor Preferences // I would like freedom to walk, move, and use different labor positions and tools such as a birthing ball, peanut ball, or squat bar. I prefer upright or side-lying positions and would like to follow my body’s natural urge to push rather than coached pushing when possible. Intermittent monitoring is preferred if medically appropriate. Pitocin // Because of my prior traumatic birth, I prefer cautious use of Pitocin. I would like medical necessity discussed before starting and would prefer to try position changes, hydration, or rest first if safe. If Pitocin becomes necessary, I prefer the lowest effective dose. Epidural // I prefer to delay or avoid an epidural if possible so I can remain mobile and aware. I would like to try movement, positioning, and comfort techniques first. If I request an epidural, I would appreciate clear explanation of timing and effects, and support with position changes afterward. Doula Support Preferences // Because of my previous traumatic birth experience, I value calm, collaborative support during labor. I would like a doula who can help me advocate for my preferences in a respectful and supportive way while maintaining a cooperative relationship with the medical team. It is important to me that my doula encourages clear communication, helps me stay informed and emotionally grounded, and supports movement, positioning, and comfort measures throughout labor. I prefer a doula who brings a steady, non-confrontational presence and contributes to a calm, respectful team environment focused on a safe, informed, and participatory birth experience. If Cesarean Is Needed // If a cesarean becomes medically necessary, I would like a clear explanation and for my partner to be present. I would like to remain awake and aware if medically possible. If possible, I would like my partner to cut the cord and for immediate or early skin-to-skin to occur in the OR or recovery, with baby remaining with me unless medically necessary. After Birth // I would like immediate skin-to-skin contact and delayed cord clamping if safe. I would like my partner to cut the cord and uninterrupted bonding time after birth. Keeping baby with me unless medically necessary is important to me.
