I am a wife (I have been with my husband almost 30 years!) and a mother to 5 beautiful children, including my youngest, who is three years old. Before becoming a doula, I worked as a graphic designer, elder care provider, and nanny. Some years back I decided to become a postpartum doula. I was interested in expanding my knowledge about infants, while supporting new mothers at the same time. I love spending time with families during this early part of life--helping them to have a smooth adjustment and close bond with their newborn. I am also trained to support women during labor and birth. My birth and postpartum doula trainings are through DONA International. My continuing education includes: childbirth education training, breastfeeding education training, and CPR/First Aid Certification.
