Hi! Nice to meet you! My name is Camille and I am 17 weeks and a change along my pregnancy journey. I am due February 23, 2027 and am exploring doula support through doulas who work with Kaiser. My husband and I both loved your website and mission. We wanted to reach out to see if you are still working with Kaiser and if you have any availability. Thank you so much and look forward to talking with you! Warmly, Camille

First baby. Planning to deliver in hospital. Vaginal birth. Using Kaiser insurance.
Second baby but different insurance so a different hospital that uses doctors only. I previously had a midwife. I had a doula with my first but she is unavailable. Hoping for someone to help me labor at home and also support/advocate at the hospital. I'm giving birth at Stanford Tri-Valley in Pleasanton. I plan to deliver vaginally with an epidural. I'm unsure of my budget because I don't have a good idea of what birth doulas cost. My friend was my doula with my first.
San Leandro, Bay Area. Looking for prenatal, birth and postpartum doula with flexible schedule sessions for prenatal and postpartum care and covered through Kaiser insurance.
Hi! I hope you're doing well. I'm currently looking for a birth doula for my upcoming delivery and came across your profile. My first birth was a difficult and traumatic experience, so this time I'm hoping to approach birth with more support, preparation, and a greater sense of confidence. I'm looking for a doula who can provide a calming presence, thoughtful guidance, and strong advocacy throughout labor and birth. I'd love to learn more about your approach, your availability, and what it's like to work with you. If it seems like we might be a good fit, I'd be grateful to connect. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.
We are first-time parents expecting a baby girl via a planned C-section at Stanford on September 16. We live in San Bruno and are looking for an experienced postpartum doula or newborn care specialist to begin after we return from the hospital. Our priority is overnight support for approximately 8–12 hours per night, ideally 5–7 nights per week for the first 2–4 weeks, with flexibility to extend. We need help with feeding, burping, diaper changes, soothing, swaddling, bottle and pump-part cleaning, and tracking the baby’s feeding and sleep. We would especially value someone trained in lactation support who can assist with breastfeeding, latch, positioning, pumping, and recognizing when an IBCLC should be consulted. Experience supporting C-section recovery is also important. The provider must communicate comfortably in English and have strong newborn experience. Postpartum doula or newborn-care training, infant CPR/First Aid, excellent references, and knowledge of current safe-sleep practices are strongly preferred. We want responsive newborn care and healthy sleep foundations—not “cry it out” or formal sleep training during the newborn stage.
