Plan to give birth in a hospital, not sure on budget, would love to talk through pros and cons for an epidural, am open to getting one but also interested in not - hoping for few interventions during birth and just an overall really positive birth experience. Would really like to explore options for pushing, but ultimately going in very open minded. DONA or ICEA preferred but again open to any as long as they are certified - not specific on years of experience. Would love for the doula to also be a lactation consultant if possible hoping to try to breastfeed if possible and also hoping to pump

I plan to have a water birth at IU health midwifery center. My budget is less than 1,000 My birth plan is to have a natural delivery in water, using gas or other means for pain management. I want to labor in water, use counter pressure, position changing etc.

Hospital, unsure of budget and birth plan just looking into options

Hi! This is our first baby and we are leaning toward a hospital birth since there are no birth centers in the area. We don't have a specific birth plan yet but want to be as natural and unmedicated as possible. Especially in a hospital setting - we don't want any of the "standard" monitoring and medicine forced on us. I am 11 weeks and seeking someone to coach us through labor and delivery prep and accompany at the birth. I look forward to hearing from you!

I am wanting to give birth at franciscan Health in Lafayette IN. I would love anything covered by pregnancy medicaid otherwise we can go up to $600. I would love to go as naturally as possible but I am a first time mom so I definitely need some pointers and a guide to help me find good coping mechanisms. As long as they speak english and know what they are doing I'm good I would love a christian doula but as long as our personalities mix well I'm good. I want a friend when going into labor. I am a little nervous as I am high risk due to just finishing cancer treatment.
