I plan on birthing at the natural birthing center in Royal oak but I live in flat rock, MI. I’m hoping to find a doula under $2,000. I want to do this naturally with no meds. I need someone to advocate for me when I can’t. I’m hoping to find someone with 5+ years experience.

Night doula needed most of the time. Would like to have someone who is responsible, reliable, careful and experienced with at least 3 years of constant working experiences. Primarily just for night baby sleep / training as needed.

This is my second baby. I plan to have a hospital birth in Royal Oaks, Michigan. I would like for someone to be with me at the hospital - a birth doula. Separately, I would also love a postpartum doula for help and care post delivery.

As a first time mom that doesn't want a lot of toxins injected into myself, and the baby, I need someone who will listen first and give advice second, or ask me questions until I'm comfortable. I'm at 5 weeks right now and just starting my research.

I'm planning my second birth and likely final birth. I've been drawn to home birth but was too fearful the first time around. If I'll never get to do this again, I want the opportunity to experience a peace filled birth. The birth of my son was A LOT - I wanted zero interventions and I ended up with an epidural and pitocin. The midwife who actually delivered baby didn't have me change position once (which previous providers on staff did - which seemed helpful). The cord was around babys neck so every time he went in and out of the birth canal, he lost circulation. After he came out, they cut his cord immediately and took him away - again, not what I wanted for either of us. I 'spiked a fever' during labor (I didn't...), so they made me and baby stay in the hospital for 5 days of antibiotics and observation - luckily, both of our IV's got accidentally ripped out by the provider after the first dose and we refused the remaining doses - we just stayed for observation. It was miserable. I was up for almost 5 days straight because I couldn't sleep with my baby next to me and I didn't produce milk because I was so stressed. I want a positive birth experience. It's going to take some convincing to get my partner on board, but I don't want to regret this forever. I'd like to give birth at home. I'm 22wks along, so need to make a decision now. I'm open to discussing budget. I have a provider at Henry Ford Hospital - so I've had labs and ultrasounds done and can continue. Baby is healthy and thriving - so am I. Windsor or Leamington hospital 800 dollars This is my first birth so I’m unsure exactly and would like to discuss a birth plan together if possible. I’d like to have my mom there and support from a doula. I’m not with the father so I wouldn’t like him there. I think I may want an epidural or natural not sure yet.

I plan to give birth at home. My estimated budget is relying on Medicaid or blue cross insurance. My birth plan is at home in a pool.

I would like an home waterbirth with providers who preferably accept insurance. I’m not sure of my budget yet. My birth plan which is subject to change: delayed cord clamping, natural birth no pain management, skin to skin for mom and dad for the first 60 minutes, no eye ointment, vit k drops instead of a shot. I got post pardum depression with my miscarriage and am looking for ways to prevent that this time around with additional help. Possible night shifts.
