About me

Hi there! I'm Destiny, your new favorite birth professional in the Chattahoochee River Valley. The River has thrown nature, herbalism, and community further into the forefront of my work and passions. I have been on a deeper, and more meaningful, journey of holistic care and can't wait to show you what that can look like for you and your family! I am a full-spectrum doula-holding patients & their families in life AND death-and a multi-certified lactation pro. I trained with SisterWeb (a culturally-competent doula organization), StillBirthday (an abortion, death, and loss doula care organization) and The Hospital Friendly Doula alongside Sutter Health in order to show up for my clients on all the paths birth (& death) take us on. I show up as an advocate, friend, and confidant in the spaces I am invited in and take my role extremely serious because your trust and desires take priority! As a lactation consultant, counselor, and specialist I have extensive knowledge in: exclusive chest/breast feeding, pumping, combo feeding, and a myriad of other circumstance-specific feeding methods, including formula feeding. My philosophy is "Fed is best" and I aim to give you the feeding journey of your dreams; whatever that is.

Service introduction

I offer prenatal, labor, and postpartum support with the option to add lactation education and counseling services as well as infant care courses. Lactation education & counseling are available as standalone services along with parenting and infant care courses. Grief and loss support are all-encompassing and services are not to be substituted.

Labor & Delivery Support
I will show up to your birthing center when you are 4-5 cm dilated and stay with you until delivery and through your Golden Hour, if desired. This package includes 2 prenatal meetings and 1 immediate postpartum follow-up.

Prenatal & Birth Support
This package includes a maximum of 4 in-person prenatal visits, full-time virtual or telecommunication support, birth plan building, and full support during your labor and through delivery. You will also receive initial breastfeeding establishment and support.

Lactation Education & Support
This package includes education and support tailored to your specific breast or chest feeding journey. We will discuss latching, feeding challenges, pumping, and storage and any other lactation related challenges, questions, or techniques that arise. There is a 2 hour minimum required to book.
