I’m Donesha, a newborn care specialist with 11 years of experience working alongside medical teams in some of the most specialized newborn care settings. My background includes five years in a Level 4 NICU, five years in a Level 3 NICU, five years in Labor and Delivery Transition, and five years in postpartum care. Working as a CNA in these environments gave me an invaluable, hands-on education in neonatal care and deeply shaped my understanding of newborns across the full spectrum of needs. My experience has made me comfortable and confident supporting complex situations, including premature infants, cleft palate, colic, GERD, reflux, apnea, oxygen therapy, NG and G-tube care, and NICU-to-home transitions. I also have extensive experience supporting families with multiples and infants with disabilities. I’m skilled at recognizing changes in a newborn’s condition, and I bring a calm, knowledgeable, and reassuring presence into every home I work in. When working with families, I provide overnight newborn care, feeding support, diapering, bathing, nursery organization, bottle washing and preparation, breastfeeding assistance, sleep training, medication administration, and newborn care education. I’m passionate about sharing evidence-based guidance and helping parents feel confident in caring for their little ones, while always respecting their individual wishes, preferences, and parenting styles. I genuinely love being part of such a special season in a family’s life and feel honored to help make the transition into parenthood as smooth and supported as possible. Outside of work, I’m a self-described girly girl and true foodie! I love brunch, shopping, listening to music, and anything pink. I bring that same warm, vibrant, and caring energy into every home I enter, and I love building meaningful connections with the families I support.

Overnight Newborn Care | Awake Care

My overnight newborn care service is designed to give parents the opportunity to rest and recharge while knowing their little ones are receiving attentive, loving, and knowledgeable care. I remain awake and alert throughout the night, providing hands-on support with feedings, diaper changes, burping, soothing, settling, bottle preparation, and other overnight newborn needs. For your peace of mind, I stay close to your baby and can rest in the nursery when your little one is sleeping, remaining available to respond promptly whenever they wake or need care. This allows parents to enjoy uninterrupted rest, knowing they don’t have to wake up for every feeding, diaper change, or nighttime fuss. My goal is to make your nights easier and your transition into parenthood more supported, all while respecting your family’s routines and preferences. With my extensive NICU experience, I also bring a calm, knowledgeable approach to caring for newborns with specialized needs, premature infants, and multiples. Overnight Care Rates Singleton (one baby): $30 per hour Twins: $35 per hour Awake Care — Singleton: $40 per hour Awake Care — Twins: $45 per hour My priority is to provide families with dependable, compassionate overnight support so parents can get the rest they deserve while their babies receive attentive care throughout the night.
