Vbac/tolac knowledgeable midwife, with good vbac/tolac success rate. Unmedicated home birth is preferred. Two prior C-sections.
Need a CNM licensed midwife for a VBAC2 home birth in the state of Maryland. I’ve had a prior cesarean. Willing to look outside of Maryland(Virginia, Pennsylvania, etc.) and pay to have them travel to us. I’ve found that the state of Maryland is very restrictive for home birthing in my case with the cesarean history. I’m trying to find another way to make this work. I might also be able to travel just outside of Maryland but so far haven’t found much luck looking at birthing centers just beyond the boarder. I found a midwife (CPM)that is also willing to work with a certified nurse (CNM)if there is someone willing to do that. We hope to give birth at our house in Denton, Md. I believe water will greatly aid my laboring process. I would love to labor in water as long as possible
I’m planning to give birth in a hospital. I would like to have a natural labor and delivery with as little intervention as possible. I would love a doula to support me through delivery as well as advocate for me while in the hospital.
give birth at home. unmedicated. labor in birth pool/tub. midwife at home
I'd like to give birth at home, but I don't mind going to the midwife's office for prenatal visits. I'm open to the idea of using a birthing pool. This is my first child, but I'm generally healthy, so I'd like a midwife who can do any minor stitching herself, but I don't think there will be major problems. I'd like to do this as naturally as possible. I have no insurance, so I'd like to pay less than 7,000.
I am still deciding on where I want to give birth. I am positive I want to go the unmediated route, though! I have been researching it for years at this point. Budget is flexible. We are insured through Highmark so of course going through our insurance would be preferable. I will only need care from someone in DE from the months of March through July. I will be moving back to Utah and giving birth with my doula that I have already chosen over there.
I want to have a home birth dollar and in need of a midwife
Looking for a midwife to assist in a home birth. First time mom, 23 years old. Just looking for information to guide us in decision making.
I’m exploring the option of a homebirth. I have previously given birth naturally in hospitals with midwives twice. I barely made it on my last birth. And I’m farther away from the hospital now where I live. The drive is what makes me nervous in the birthing process. I have wanted to do a homebirth but been nervous about if there was an emergency how it would be handled in a home setting. I would want to be with a midwife who took pretty low risk if an emergency. I’m not concerned about budget, I’m just wanting to find the right fit of a midwife if I go the homebirth route.
Im due approximately August 22, 2026. This is my 2nd pregnancy. I had my first 7 years ago in florida in our apartment. He was 11lbs completely healthy. It was an ideal birth. Really want the same outcome for my 2nd.
