We are insured through Highmark so of course going through our insurance would be preferable. I will only need care from someone in DE from the months of March through July. I will be moving back to Utah and giving birth with my doula that I have already chosen over there.

I'd like to give birth at home, but I don't mind going to the midwife's office for prenatal visits. I'm open to the idea of using a birthing pool. This is my first child, but I'm generally healthy, so I'd like a midwife who can do any minor stitching herself, but I don't think there will be major problems. We plan to give birth at Chester County Hospital in West Chester Pa. We don’t have a limit for our budget. We would like to have a birth as natural as possible. I would like to labor at home for as long as I can, use my bath/ shower, and get through as many contractions until I feel I need to go to the hospital. I don’t want the epidural.
