Im a first time mom looking for day care for approximately 8 hours a day 4-5 days a week. For provider, I’m looking for a certified postpartum Douala with at least a few years of experience. No requirement for second language spoken but I speak Spanish fluently and some Mandarin. My son is 3 weeks old and is currently exclusively breast fed. I’m interested in help with meal prep/cooking, laundry, and minimal cleaning around the house. I need more sleep during the day and would like baby care while I take a nap or two. I’m going to start pumping and would also like help getting the baby to start taking a bottle. My estimated budget is approximately $70 an hour.

I plan to give birth at UCLA Santa Monica. I really don't have much in the budget, maybe a couple thousand. I'm potentially interested in hypnotherapy and aromatherapy, but not opposed to an epidural, and would like a very quiet and calm environment with minimal yelling. Absolutely no circumcision under any circumstances. Apparently I have a chance at getting reimbursed for doula services if they work under a license of some kind, so that would be preferred. I have Blue Shield PPO, in case that's helpful. I'm 35 so "Advanced Maternal Age", and have been flagged as high-risk for my weight. I am looking for someone who can help to protect me and help me feel safe and like my choices are being respected during labor. I am absolutely open to pain medications/necessary interventions, but I do have some fear in hospitals and I don't necessarily trust the medical system 100%. My budget is probably up to $1000, I'm giving birth at the UCLA center in Westwood. I am going to decide on an epidural as I go, but if I get one I want a walking epidural. I am afraid of C section to be honest, I would rather have some control and be able to move around but not feel rushed through or pressured into procedures that aren't necessary. I want to protect a calm and quiet environment as much as possible, I'm guessing I'm going to want to be very inward as I go through the process, at least as much as possible, but this is my first baby so I'm not 100% sure.
