I plan to give birth at Christiana Care in northern Delaware. I’d like to find a doula that takes my insurance and can provide the 3 prenatal, 3 postnatal visits and labor/delivery support. I’m going to be a first time, single mom by choice and am not sure who, if anyone, will be in the delivery room with me and I’d like an advocate and someone I trust to help support and help me understand what is going on and my choices in real time. I’ve also never given birth before so someone that can help me figure out what to expect, what should even be included in a birth plan and what choices or things I should consider. I’m an older mom so someone with alot of experience is appreciated, but I value personality matching and a good fit more. As a single mom I will be happy for any and all additional help someone can provide, I anticipate being very overwhelmed those first few weeks. In-Network with Highmark BCBS is a must. We're looking for a doula who is experienced working with neurodivergent mothers and also has some experience with working with mothers who suffer from trauma. We're looking for someone who can support pre-birth through education, resources and techniques and can also be in the room during the birth. We're hoping to breastfeed, but that might be a sensory nightmare, so we're looking for someone who can help us navigate that. We will be giving birth in a hospital, hopefully unmedicated and vaginally. Unsure about days/hours required or budget, but in person is better.

Im giving birth at reading hospital tho I might switch to Saint Joe's as its alittle closer this is my 1st baby I want to go as natural as possible no breaking my water or induced unless necessary I also want a delayed cord cutting and the golden hour no hepatitis b shot and honestly thats all me and my partner have decided on im not really sure about a budget but somewhere around 1k
