I plan to give birth in a hospital. I would like a doula to educate me on best practices during labor and birth as well as be there to advocate for me during the birthing process. As of right now I believe that I would not like the cord clamped until it is white and no longer pulsing and also that I do not want to give birth lying on my back. Budget is $1500.

This is our first baby and I would like to try to give birth naturally in the hospital (St. Luke's Anderson in Easton) and delay getting an epidural (if at all- a needle in my back freaks me out) so i can move around more until the baby is in the proper position for delivery.
