VBAC Doulas in Durham, NC

Hi my name is Jerilyn Free but I go by “Jeri”. I am from the Triad are and am definitely a unicorn in this field. I am an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) and a Certified Birth Doula. I have been working as a Birth Doula since 2016. I have assisted in vaginal births, c-sections, vbacs, water births, virtual doula work, and have supported families that have dealt with a loss. My experience is wide! Currently, I work in a hospital as a Lactation Consultant. My special touch is assisting families in the early days of learning your baby. Working with teens/young adults. These times are very important. Many times birthing parents may not get that special attention. So as a doula and an LC, I am can be there at the birth and can assisting you with your feeding needs. I am one of the Community Directors for Mahogany Milk as well as the Coordinator and Lead for Mahogany Milk Drops at the YWCA in Greensboro. I am a mother of 3 girls, each who I breastfed. I find myself unique because my Bachelor’s Degree is in Animal Science and a Master’s in Agriculture Education. I would love to be part of your birth story.

Monica Bentley is a Certified Holistic Doula (2014), DONA-trained Doula (2025), and Certified Birth Assistant dedicated to creating safe, empowered, and culturally-rooted birth experiences. As the founder of Sacred Womb Haven LLC, she blends ancestral wisdom, traditional healing, and evidence-based care to support families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Her mission is to honor the sacredness of birth while advocating for birth justice and autonomy.

Jaden is a birth doula, a Lamaze childbirth educator and a breastfeeding peer counselor. She has experience working with couples, un-partnered parents, BIPOC families, interracial/intercultural families, LGBTQIA+ families, medicated/unmedicated births, cesarean births, high + low risk birthing people, advanced maternal age, survivors of domestic violence, survivors of sexual abuse, and larger bodied birthing people. Jaden is a firm believer that everyBODY deserves the right to bodily autonomy and choice. EveryBODY deserves access to a doula. Jaden has strong interests in herbal and natural remedies and enjoys grounding herself in nature. When she isn’t spending her time learning or at a birth, she is either spending quality time with her two pups, Bear and Junie, nose deep in a book, or practicing her (not so perfect) yoga flow! Her calm presence changes the energy in every room she steps into.
