Hey everyone, name is Tara Duncan and I am a Certified Postpartum and Infant Care Doula as well as Labor doula through Prodoula. After years of working with children ages 0 to 9 years-old, I finally found her passion caring for families doing doula work. I have been a certified doula since 2018 for postpartum, and 2020 for Labor. I care about the mental health and the functionality of families. I believe that knowledge is power; so I am never done learning so that I am able to provide the best up-to-date support and knowledge for families I serve. I have experience with multiples, tongue-ties, circumcisions, sleep training, prenatal and infant loss training, sibling support, and surrogate support. Hello! My name is Bridgette, and I would love to be your doula! I began my journey as a birth doula with my training under the LEADoula program including class hours and practical hands-on birth support and am certified through DONA International. I have supported many families including first time parents to fourth time parents. I have assisted families with support during scheduled inductions, TOLAC/VBAC, planned and unplanned C-sections. I have assisted families with unmedicated and medicated births. I am also a Certified Postpartum Doula and Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (IBCLC Student). Having grown up in Vermont, I was always around breastfeeding mothers, clean living, and being part of a village for new parents. Briana Smith is an Certified Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and Placenta Encapsulation Specialist. Her advanced training and certifications include When Survivors Give Birth, Rebozo Use in Labor, Postpartum Belly Binding Professional, Systemic Racism & Implicit Bias in Perinatal Health, and Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness. Briana received her BS in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where her passion for maternal and reproductive health sparked. She went on to receive her MPH from East Carolina University. She has experience supporting couples, single parents, advanced maternal age, VBAC/VBA2C, sexual trauma and assault survivors, high and low risk births, cesarean births, and families who have experienced or are expecting a loss. Briana has extensive experience working as a doula and an educator in all of our local area hospitals, birth centers, and in home. She is passionate about providing evidence based, unbiased education and helping her clients to make their own informed decisions. Briana's open, direct, and honest communication style paired with her empathic, compassionate personality allows her to be the best advocate and support for families before, during, and after birth. Briana currently lives in Eastern Wake County (though she'll always be a northerner at heart!) Hey there! My name is Naomi Carrington. I am a Certified Birth and Postpartum doula, Breastfeeding Counselor and Childbirth Educator in Louisburg, serving the greater Raleigh Triangle area. I'm passionate about childbirth, mamas, and babies, and I've dedicated my life to helping families experience a birth and postpartum beyond their expectations. Birth does not have to be seen as a fearful thing, but something women were designed for. Living overseas has helped to shape who I am today and the services I offer. Over the past few years I have mainly attended home births which is my 'happy place'. But no matter where you plan to deliver, I guide my clients in preparing both their minds and bodies for labor and offer full informed support of their choices. Nicole Strader, Birth Doula My name is Nicole Strader, and I am a birth doula committed to supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the early days of parenthood. Stacy is a full-spectrum doula and a community chaplain, currently completing a Master in Divinity in Interreligious Chaplaincy with a Certificate in Buddhist Chaplaincy. With nearly 20 years as a birth and postpartum doula, she has served as a breastfeeding counselor and student of midwifery.Her work supporting families through perinatal and postpartum loss revealed a critical need for deeper understanding, more wisdom, and expansion of care. Stacy spent one year studying the causes, impact and growth within trauma. Over the years, Stacy has been trained at Bumi Sehat, a birth center in Bali, Indonesia, where she had been learning and volunteering off and on for the last 18 years. Stacy is the mama to three daughters who were all born in their own ways on their own time at home. Earlier in life, to stay near her children, she taught in Waldorf education and guided youth on outdoor hikes. Movement and nature contribute to trauma recovery. For Taproot magazine, Stacy wrote an article about Bumi Sehat She loves the feeling of sunshine on skin, the smell of frankincense, the taste of spicy guacamole, the sound of the Gayatri mantra, and the sight of birds dancing together in the sky.

I have always had a heart for serving others and a passion for supporting people through their most vulnerable experiences. As a type 1 diabetic, I take a keen interest in nurturing Mama’s that are dealing with high-risk pregnancies. Some of my own personal experiences have led me to the desire to educate, support and empower women to advocate for themselves and the positive birth experience they deserve!

Hi! My name is Kelly Collins and I am a certified birth & postpartum doula and family caregiver specializing in new parent support and healing-centered care. With an Early Childhood Education background and 27 years of experience as a professional caregiver & family consultant, I have the knowledge and expertise to assist families during any part of their parenting journey. I was "called" to birth work after my own birth experience 15 years ago. It was my transition to motherhood that led me to become a doula and entrepreneur. I know that the family is one of God's greatest creations and I serve my clients accordingly. As a doula, my main goal is to provide full family support during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Not only do I provide evidence-based education and whole body care, but I also desire to facilitate a positive and Spirit-filled birth experience for her clients. Hello, my name is Ambria and I’m a certified birth doula through DONA international. I have several years of experience working in the healthcare industry including OBGYN, and my experience there has helped me come to the conclusion that I want to give women more individualized and direct care. I’ve provided both in-person and virtual doula support. I have experienced an emergency c-section, a twin VBAC, IVF and I’m an adoptive mom to my second son. It is my greatest joy to see moms full of confidence and knowledge going into their births. I was born and raised in Burlington, North Carolina (and still live here!), and my family heritage spans back many generations in this area. I’m a southern girl at heart who was saved by Jesus’ grace when I was 10 years old. I am blessed to be married to my better half and sweetheart, Paul, whom I’ve loved since I was 17 years old. We have journeyed through happiness and heartache together; military trainings and deployment, selling one home and building another, births and funerals, illnesses and surgeries, family vacations, and more. We have two beautiful children, Rafe and Lorelai, who bring laughter and joy to our home. The Lord also uses them to refine our faith and prayer lives. My life is built upon my foundation in Christ alone. I will not compromise my beliefs for another’s comfort. I believe in truthfulness and extending grace to one another. When my husband and I became pregnant with our first baby, we took Bradley Birthing Method classes with our doula and though I had planned a home birth, my labor ended up being induced in a hospital at 35 weeks gestation due to pre-eclampsia. My birth experience was not how I had envisioned it, but having the phenomenal support of my doula and husband made a world of difference and thanks to their help, many of my birth goals were accomplished when my son was born. Fast forward to when I gave birth to our second baby; I planned another home birth and worked very hard to maintain my health during pregnancy, and did not develop pre-eclampsia again, praise Jesus! I delivered our daughter in a birth pool in our bedroom at home, surrounded by the most amazing support team of my midwife, doulas, and family - I will be forever grateful for such a redemptive, healing birth experience which also created a much more joyful postpartum experience, too. I became a birth doula in 2018 after the birth of my son. My doula had impacted my pregnancy and birth experience so much; feeling completely supported and informed of my options even when my home birth turned hospital birth, her influence gave me confidence and awareness. Because of this, I felt The Lord calling me to serve other families through birth work in the same way. I trained and certified through DONA International and hit the ground running. I worked with a large doula group for a while which was such a wonderful opportunity to shadow under very experienced doulas. After a few years, I felt called to start my own business and did so in November 2021 after much prayer and consideration. I’ve attended over 80 births in a variety of settings at homes, birth centers, and hospitals. I have supported births that are natural, medicated, induction, cesarean, VBACs, water birth, and more. I have worked with single mothers, trauma survivors, families with NICU stays, mothers whose husbands were deployed during birth, stillbirth, and more. I believe that no matter what her birth goals are, women and their families all deserve continuous and unconditional encouragement, education, and support throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I want you to feel loved and cared for as you welcome a new member into your family and home. I believe that birth is not something to be feared, but rather embraced and viewed as extraordinary. Birth is a divine, sacred experience that transcends the physical world into the spiritual. My own journey of motherhood has seen its fair share of joys and challenges, and it’s only just beginning. I know what it’s like to make a birth plan and experience a different one. I know what it’s like to be separated from your newborn when he goes to the NICU. I have experienced a hard postpartum experience as well as a smooth one. I have celebrated milestones of those two pink lines, birthdays, first words, first steps, and I continue to remain in awe of the love that I have given and received. All of these experiences, among others, are part of my desire to support families as they journey into parenthood.
