Hello! I’m Ebony Brown, a Postpartum Doula, Certified Newborn Care Specialist (day/night) and Nanny based in Owings Mills, MD. With over 20 years of experience supporting families—from classrooms and nurseries to private homes and transitional care settings—I’ve dedicated my career to nurturing both parents and babies through every stage of early development. My approach combines gentle guidance, evidence-based care, and genuine compassion, helping families welcome their little ones with calm, confidence, and connection during the most precious early days of life. Ebony has been a nanny for all of our children from infant to pre school age and regularly babysits for us. She has also provided overnight post partum doula care for our newborn! Ebony is kind, easy going, responsible, thorough, and truly enjoys spending time with our children. When I work from home and she is there, I can hear her laughing with the kids as she plays with them. Her extensive training in early childhood education has supported our kids academic abilities very early! All of our kids knew their letters by 18 months and had >100 words by that age. They knew their colors and shapes by age 2. They were extremely prepared for preschool and beyond. Ebony follows the lead of the parents but also provides suggestions based on her experience that are very helpful. Ebony is the best. We cannot recommend her enough. Our kids love her, we love her- even our dog loves her!
