Hello! I’m Mytala, a postpartum doula based in Edmond, Oklahoma, proudly serving families here and in the surrounding areas. I support families with the same care and encouragement I’d offer a dear friend, blending practical help with a touch of magic. I like to think of myself as a postpartum fairy godmother—nurturing, warm, and ready to ease your transition into life with a new baby through nourishing meals, gentle guidance, and compassionate presence. My approach is rooted in meeting each family where they are, offering judgment-free support that honors your unique story and needs. Whether it’s sharing a warm meal, holding space for your emotions, or helping you feel more confident in your new role, I’m here to make those early weeks feel just a little lighter and a lot more supported.
Mytala helped me after the birth of my 6th. She was a such a blessing! I think the first time she came, I was exhausted (surprising, right?!), and she jumped right in and engaged my older kids in cleaning and making a charcuterie board for lunch (which they promptly devoured). The next time, I was a bit under the weather. Again, I didn't have to ask her what to do. She looked around, saw what needed to be done, and made a snack with the kids, made me a cup of tea, and brought such peace to the home. Mytala has a beautiful heart, full of love and joy, and would be a blessing to anyone who hires her.

Hello there! Welcome and thank you for taking the time to get to know me and the services I offer. I want to take a moment to congratulate you on this incredible journey you are on to becoming a parent. You are taking important steps and doing your research just by being here. We are all experts here. I am an expert on birth and support. You are an expert on your body and your baby. Your partner is an expert on you and your needs. I support all birth plans and recognize that you are an individual and your birth is exactly that, yours. I support you in whatever you desire and choose whether that is an unmedicated birth, medicated birth, induction, planned cesarean, VBAC, home birth, etc. I made the decision to pursue birth work because I had an amazing birth experience and happily shared my story. By sharing, I quickly discovered that many people did not have a positive experience and that traumatic experiences were the norm. This sparked a passion to serve families and help change the narrative of birth experiences. I have served 14 families as a postpartum doula and 53 families as a birth doula over the past 4 years and it is a dream career!
I have told anyone that will listen that hiring Melanie was one of the best choices when it came to my pregnancy and birth. We did the Birth Boot Camp comprehensive class, and I felt that was incredibly informative as well. Melanie has such a sweet demeanor and her calm presence was very welcome and helpful for both my husband and I when we were in the hospital. I'm ecstatic that we're also able to have her be a part of our birth team for our second child.

Hello! My name is Erin, and I am so excited to be working for the OKC Metro region as a Fertility, Birth, and Postpartum Doula. I also offer placenta encapsulation as well. I would be honored to work with you and your family through one of the most exciting times of you and your families’ lives.
Erin went above and beyond to provide me with amazing care and resources for the birth of my daughter. The support she provided was pivotal in the success of my unmedicated childbirth, which I had attempted with two deliveries prior to this one- and had not been able to do before now. Erin was extremely thoughtful and respectful of my wishes, and was a wonderful advocate for me during this birth experience. I could not have asked for a better doula. Thank you, Erin!

My philosophy is simple: you were made for this, and you don’t have to do it alone. I offer emotional, physical, and spiritual support to help you feel deeply held in one of life’s most powerful transitions. Whether you’re preparing for your first birth or navigating your fourth postpartum season, I come alongside you with prayer, evidence-based care, and heart-led encouragement. Let’s walk this sacred path together—rooted in peace and led by faith.
I loved having Aerin as my virtual doula since I ended up giving birth to my baby while on vacation prematurely. Aerin was a great resource to have when it came to questions about my role as a NICU mom. She helped me advocate for myself regarding my role during my baby’s care time and skin to skin. She was also very encouraging when it came to my pumping journey as it looks a little different since baby is not with me at all times. Honestly Aerin has been a tremendous help emotionally as well as I navigate this life changing event unexpectedly, she’s amazing and I will definitely have her as my doula for any future pregnancies. 10/10

Am a certified birth doula, Postpartum doula, bereavement doula, Childbirth educator and placenta specialist. I love serving families as they welcome a new member into their arms. I have been blessed to serve growing families since 2017!
Katrina was my doula for my third baby, and she was INCREDIBLE. She anticipated my every need before I even knew I needed something. She offered excellent support in every way. She really is more than a doula, she becomes a part of the family. I love her dearly. I'll never forget her laying on the hospital floor to catch a little rest while we waited for my labor to start so that my mom could sleep on the couch and the moment my son was born she just turned to my mom and gave her a huge hug. You need a doula and you need Katrina!!!

I have a heart to support birthing and postpartum mothers. After marrying my highschool sweetheart, earning my Bachleor’s degree in psychology and becoming pregnant with our first child, I became interested in becoming a doula. I later trained at the Indie Birth Association, which emphasizes autonomous and natural birthing practices, as well as Uzazi Village, which prioritizes birth assistance for black and brown families. These Associations have given me unique experiences to better serve families. I’m so grateful for my supportive husband, with whom I now have 4 young children, for encouraging me to pursue my dreams. In my free time I love to spend time with my family, homeschool my children, go to church with my family, read the Word, work on handcrafts, garden, explore the outdoors (kids and dirt were made for each other!) and continue my birth work education to become a midwife one day.

Hi! I’m a NICU nurse at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital, where I’ve spent the past two years caring for some of the sweetest and most delicate little ones. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma’s nursing program, and before that, I worked as a nanny for newborns and children up to 10 years old. Caring for babies and supporting new parents is truly my passion. I know how overwhelming those first days and nights can feel, and my goal is to help make the transition smoother—whether that’s caring for your newborn, offering guidance, or simply helping you feel more confident and at ease in your own home.

I have been a birth doula in the OKC metro area since November of 2016 and Certified Lactation Counselor since 2021. My passion for all things pregnancy, birth, and postpartum began during my own journey into motherhood. The more I prepared for my birth, the bigger my passion grew. My birth stories completely transform the way I saw myself and showed up as a mother. I now find great joy in walking with other families through their own transformation stories as they grow their families.
