Hello everyone! Im the mom of two rambunctious redheads, a Registered Nurse, and an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I have more than 10 years of nursing and lactation experience working in lactation, pediatrics, newborn care, and labor and delivery. My love for lactation truly flourished when I struggled with my first newborn going through colic, breastfeeding issues, and tongue tie. Becoming a lactation consultant has been a deeply personal journey for me. I graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders (speech-language pathology). I began a clinical internship in 2022 at Timpanogos Regional Hospital in Orem, Utah, where I worked until 2024 in the mother-baby unit, NICU, and pediatric settings. I've experienced nearly every positive aspect of lactation, as well as its many challenges.
