Hello there, looking for a doula to help guide us through our birthing journey, help with nights and teach us about how to heal, lactation specialist and care for the baby. We are new parents and expecting a boy in the fall
I am having my fourth child. I am going to be solo-parenting 3 elementary school aged children (11, 8, and 6) while welcoming my new baby. My current children’s father is not the father of my newest addition. I plan to give a medicated birth at a hospital, Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA. As far as budget goes, I am hoping to find someone covered by my insurance. My birth plan actually needs a lot of planning still. This will be my first unsupported birth. With my previous children I had my partner, mother and usually another female family member. It has been over 6 years since my last birth and I’m open to trying new things like birthing baths and alternative pushing positions. My births have always been short (4-6 hours from start to final push.) I never had any complications after birth or during but did need an iron transfusion before my third child was born, I went into labor the night after receiving the transfusion. I need a lot of guidance and support and will be struggling with anxiety during this pregnancy and birth.
We are looking for a night nanny for when our baby is born - ideally someone who could come every other night to help. We would like someone who has many years of experience and has worked with different families so has diverse experience. A big bonus would be if they were fluent in Spanish and/or Polish.
Hi, we have a four day old infant who is having trouble sleeping through the not and therefore so are we! We live in Columbia city in South Seattle. We have two dogs but they’d be in a bedroom for the night. I am breastfeeding but not yet pumping do would need him brought to me for feedings but would like support so I can sleep. We are hoping for immediate support and can discuss longer term needs/frequency.
