I’m not sure what I need because I’ve never used the service, I would like support during the birth. Just found out I’m pregnant so I’m just trying to plan in advance.
Second baby on the way in February, recently relocated to Edmonton and have a toddler at the moment, looking for night nurse to help care for my new born assisting with nightly care that comes with very young babies so feeding, nappy changes and sleeping. 4-5 days a week covering nights.
We are looking for a night nanny for five to six days a week 11 pm to 7 am from early/mid January 4-6 weeks at minimum, with possible part-time extension up to 12 weeks. Want someone with strong certifications like a degree in nursing. Also with current CPR and current security checks. Preferably with extra training for newborns and sleep. Experience is valued. Budget is flexible up to sixty five an hour for a great candidate.
• Feed the baby (or bring the baby to the mother for breastfeeding). • Change diapers and soothe the baby back to sleep. • Monitor the baby’s health overnight. • Help establish healthy sleep routines. • Allow parents to get uninterrupted rest.
