I plan to give birth at a hospital. I do not have a budget specified for this—not sure what the cost range is. Because of previous surgery, I anticipate I will have a c-section, but would like to deliver vaginally if possible. I am looking for an experienced certified doula who has experience with Black birthing people. I am 42 years old and this is my first pregnancy. I am high risk for pre-clampsia.

I plan to give birth at UCLA Santa Monica. I really don't have much in the budget, maybe a couple thousand. I'm potentially interested in hypnotherapy and aromatherapy, but not opposed to an epidural, and would like a very quiet and calm environment with minimal yelling. Absolutely no circumcision under any circumstances. Apparently I have a chance at getting reimbursed for doula services if they work under a license of some kind, so that would be preferred. I have Blue Shield PPO, in case that's helpful. I'm 35 so "Advanced Maternal Age", and have been flagged as high-risk for my weight. We live in Playa Del Rey and planning to have a birth in Cedars-Sinai in Beverly Hills. Our estimate budget is $1500-3000 but this will depend on the available options. I am working with a midwife as my primary care provider, and for now we are planning on a natural birth, preferably no induction (unless medically required), maximizing freedom to move during birth. I want to have an epidural as an option if I need it but I am planning to go without it for as long as possible and see how it goes. I am 25 yo, this is my first baby (a boy). I plan to give birth at Hoag Hospital Newport Beach. I have United Healthcare insurance and would like to have the lowest budget possible. I want an epidural due to not good with pain.
