Hi! I was producing plenty to feed my baby at first, now only 2 weeks in I’m producing less than half of what he needs. I’m pumping or breastfeeding every 3 hours, drinking over 80oz of water, have a high protein diet, and am taking 1 packet of liquid iv every day. I don’t understand why my supply isn’t there anymore. Giving birth at NY Pres Hudson Valley Hospital in Cortlandt Manor NY. Estimated budget $1,800. Birth plan: epidural vaginal birth. I would strongly prefer a Black woman doula with at least two years of experience. I am 33, this is my first baby, and I am not high risk. I plan to primarily breast feed and pump.
