About me

Hi everyone, my name is Erica Villagomez and I am a certified birth doula serving the SCV and surrounding areas. My passion for birth began during my own experiences with pregnancy. My philosophy is: birth is a sensitive and intimate experience; which is why I treat this honor of doula support with integrity and the utmost respect. In my practice, I approach birth with a nonjudgmental-open heart. Every woman is different, and every birthing parent is unique.

Service introduction

My birth package includes 2-3 prenatal appointment, the entirety of your labor, and 1 postnatal visit. On our first prenatal, we will review the specifics of our agreement and time together. This gives us an opportunity to get to know each other and discuss any questions you might have. During our second visit, we discuss your birth vision and potential scenarios that may occur during your labor. The third visit is much more focused on reviewing comfort measures and procedures to help make the transition into parenthood easier. I am committed to you and your family during the entirety of your labor until your baby is born, and one hour after you have delivered your placenta. The final visit is offered one week postpartum to review the birth and so I may admire the baby.
