About me
Hi, I’m Evan! Congratulations on your growing family! Bringing home a newborn is one of life’s greatest joys, but it can also be exhausting. My goal is to provide compassionate, dependable overnight care so you can get the rest you need while knowing your baby is safe, loved, and well cared for. I currently work in a hospital’s Postpartum and NICU units, where I care for newborns and support families during those important first days after birth. My experience has given me a strong foundation in newborn care, including recognizing infant cues, supporting feeding, practicing safe sleep, and providing compassionate care to both babies and their families. I also have extensive hands-on experience caring for infants and understand the unique needs of newborns and new parents. During overnight shifts, I can: * Feed, burp, and soothe your baby * Change diapers and provide gentle nighttime care * Follow safe sleep practices recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics * Keep track of feedings, diaper changes, and sleep * Wash and sanitize bottles and pump parts * Light newborn laundry (washing, drying, and folding baby clothes, swaddles, burp cloths, and crib linens) * Support breastfeeding families by bringing your baby to you for feedings, then handling diaper changes, burping, and soothing afterward * Help establish healthy sleep routines while always following your family’s preferences I believe every family deserves support during the newborn stage. My approach is calm, patient, and responsive. I know that inviting someone into your home to care for your baby is a big decision, and I strive to build trust through open communication, reliability, and attentive care. Whether you need occasional overnight support or consistent care during those first weeks, I would be honored to help your family get the rest and confidence you deserve.
