Hi, I'm Eve! As a mother of two with a background in Child Development and years spent teaching infants and young children, I know how profound and disorienting the early stages of parenthood can be. I know the questions you didn't expect to have, the vulnerability you didn't see coming, and how much it would have meant to have someone simply show up and hold it all with me. That knowing is what led me here. At the heart of it, what I care about most is human connection: being genuinely present with people during the moments that matter most is where I feel most alive in my work. My approach is rooted in the belief that postpartum care should feel like an exhale. Our society underrecognizes how profound this season truly is, and that gap is exactly where my heart lies. I show up without judgment, without a script, and without a single "right" way to do any of this. Every experience you have belongs, including the hard ones. Whether I'm helping you rest, supporting a feed, processing emotions, or simply being a calm presence in the room, my goal is the same: to validate what you're feeling, encourage you at every turn, and remind you to trust yourself. You were never meant to hold this alone.

I offer warm, hands-on in-home support shaped entirely around your unique family needs, including newborn care, infant feeding support, meal prep, emotional support, babywearing, sibling support, and light household help. What is a postpartum doula?

A postpartum doula provides emotional, educational, and practical support during the weeks — and sometimes months — after your baby arrives. My role is to help you rest, recover, and feel genuinely confident caring for your baby, while supporting the whole family as you settle into this new life together.

When should I hire a postpartum doula?

Many families reach out during pregnancy to reserve postpartum support, but you can also contact me after your baby arrives. If you’re already postpartum and overwhelmed, you are not too late.

What happens in a typical postpartum visit?

Each visit is shaped by what you actually need that day, which might look completely different from the week before. We might spend time on newborn care education, feeding support, meal prep, or an emotional check-in. Some visits are practical; some are mostly just about sitting together and breathing. I follow your lead.

What if I am not sure what kind of support I need?

That’s one of the most common things I hear and you’re in good company. You don’t need to have it figured out before we connect. During our consultation call, we’ll talk through where you are, what feels hard, and what support might look like for your family. Many families find that their needs become clearer once care begins.

What is the difference between a postpartum doula and a nanny?

A postpartum doula brings specific training in postpartum recovery, newborn care, infant feeding, and emotional support, not just childcare. During a visit, I’m not only looking after the baby; I’m also watching for signs of postpartum mood changes, helping you understand what’s normal for your newborn, and connecting you to the right providers when something is outside my scope. If a family is primarily looking for childcare or housekeeping, a nanny or babysitter is likely a more affordable option. Postpartum doula support is the right fit when you want informed, whole-family care during the recovery period.
