I'm Laura with Free State Doula Services, a certified birth doula in the Kansas City & surrounding areas. I am leading workshops on birth planning where I provide education on the topics surrounding labor, birth, and postpartum, guide you through making the decision making process & provide copies of your plan at the end, along with an editable digital copy in case you change your mind about any part. Some call them birth plans, some call them birth preferences, or birth vibes even, but what this document represents is the summary of all the things that are important to you so that you, your providers, and birth team can be on the same page with how best to support you! Deciding what goes on it & writing it doesn't have to be hard... I promise.
