Breastfeeding Basics: A Class for Expecting & New Parents Whether you're preparing to breastfeed for the first time or looking to build confidence and knowledge, this class is for you. Join us for a supportive and practical session covering everything you need to know to get started on your breastfeeding journey. What you’ll learn: The benefits of breastfeeding for both baby and parent Proper latch and positioning techniques How to tell if your baby is getting enough milk Common challenges and how to overcome them Pumping, storing milk, and returning to work Tips for partner and family support Led by a certified lactation counselor, Birth Doula and Childbirth Educator of 2 years this class offers evidence-based information, real-world tips, and plenty of time for Q&A. Open to all parents and caregivers — whether you plan to breastfeed exclusively, combine feeding methods, or just want to learn more. Come with your questions and leave feeling empowered!

Tia is DONA international certified Birth Doula, Lactation Counselor and CAPPA Certified Prenatal Educator. Tia is passionate about the care of birthing people’s mental health and wellbeing; her goal is to help birthing peoples achieve their most positive birth experience. Tia uses movement, positioning, education, words of encouragement and affirmations to guide her clients through the stages of labor. She is very passionate about prenatal education, and strives to provide evidence based, unbiased information to all expecting parents. Tia believes a beautiful birth story is something to behold for a lifetime. There is nothing you can’t achieve when given the right amount of support, love, care, and self-determination! Tia is from southern NH where she lives with her husband and three children. In her free time, she enjoys spending the day in the sun with her family, gardening, crocheting and volunteering within the community. “I believe in the power of advocacy, compassion, and education during this vulnerable and momentous time. Everyone deserves someone to be a trusted guide, confidant, and friend with continuity of care through pregnancy, birth and parenthood.
