I am hoping to have a unmedicated birth likely at the Mother Baby Center or Twin Cities Birth Center. We were hoping for a home birth but discovered it’s a bit of an insurance challenge. I plan to use TRICARE Reserve Select insurance so hope to find a doula that works with that. Still defining my birth plan, but would love for it to be unmedicated, minimal intervention…allowing my body to do its natural thing and be empowered by kind supportive humans. :)

Birth location: North Memorial Hospital- Maple Grove, MN Price range: $600 Leaning towards a medicated birth.

This is my first baby, but I am looking for a Doula in training that is able to help me achieve an unmedicated birth. I currently live in Stillwater Minnesota and plan to deliver at St. John’s Hospital. I’m hoping to find a Doula in training as my insurance does not cover a Doula at all and the cost of a trained Doula is not feasible.

I'm giving birth in a hospital and hope to have a natural birth. This is my second child. I had breastfeeding struggles with the first and would love someone who can help with that. I will be 35 at time of birth. If the doula wouldn't mind watching the baby for a few hours so I could get sleep after birth that would be amazing. Someone who is Christian would also be a plus. It’s my first baby, I’m hoping for a natural birth with the nitrogen oxide (the laughing gas stuff) and maybe even for a water birth if I enjoy it. I also want training in how to breastfeed, care for a newborn, and just labor and delivery. I’m 20 years old. I am still deciding on where I’ll be giving birth at, as I’m moving currently closer to the cities (but still 20-30 minutes away. My insurance covers a doula. I have blue earth shield insurance.

TTC: I've had 2 early miscarriages. 1ts May 2022 & 2nd March 2023. We took a couple years off due to some injuries/health issues. We are now 36yrs(w) and 41yrs(h) and ttc. We are going on 3 months with no positive outcome. Pregnancy: Once pregnant my wish is to not take any vaccines while pregnant and we do not plan to vaccine our children. I'm still doing research but we are leaning towards not vaccinating. Birth: I'm open. I would like to learn more about my options.
