Home preferable Hospital 2nd option I have Medicaid(?) so looking for Medicaid accepted, within my area.

I want a doula who will help prepare me mentally and physically before birth and also provide guidance and support postpartum. I would like my birth experience to include prayer, affirmations, freedom of movement during labor, natural comfort measures, and a calm, peaceful environment. I want a provider who views birth as a natural process, respects informed decision-making, and is comfortable incorporating my spiritual beliefs into my care. I recently found out I was pregnant and looking for a midwife for myself.

I am a mother of 2 pregnant with my third child due the end of July. I had my first birth in a hospital, induced, and my second at home with a midwife. I am looking for the flexibility of a home birth along with the decreased pressure. I have no set budget amount but would like flexible payment plan. I would love to labor fairly uninterrupted and have my husband and mom with me for support.

I plan to have a home birth in northwest Detroit area. No meds. Little interventions.
