I am looking for more personalized care than what I have been receiving this far. I will probably be delivering at Oaklawn Hospital or Hillsdale Hospital. My birth plan has always been "safe momma, safe baby" - whatever we need to do to achieve those things, I am open to.

4 weeks with my 2nd baby. Praying for a successful homebirth after a traumatic hospital stay with our first born. (Went unmedicated and her birth was incredible it was what happened after she was born with hospital staff)

Not currently expecting, but planning. I solely am looking for a professional to come to my home and is there in case of an emergency, and to do the tedious work like weighing, measuring, and likely bring any needed paperwork. No prenatal care or post care I am set with that. To be frank, I have watched about 20 species of animals give birth, have helped if necessary , and humans have been doing just fine without medical intervention since the beginning of time; it isn’t a medical emergency (unless there is one). To be honest, it isn’t a woo-woo “beautiful” experience to me, OR something that always needs a hospital visit, it’s simply nature. But because things can still happen, I’d prefer someone there in case medical intervention is needed. Since I cannot find a birthing center near me (where I may be allowed to snack/walk/birth in any position I’d like) I am highly considering a home birth, with minimal intervention. Unless there’s an emergency you’re fine to eat snacks on the couch, if I feel sick or am in pain I kind of get irritated at the “you’re doing great” pep talk things, so I don’t think I would really enjoy that, just looking for the expertise.

We are early 20s military couple who will be just getting out only two months before babies born.. so finances are tight trying to buy a home and get bearing together. I am considering a home birth after delivering 3 children in birthing centers. I want more information

I prefer to give birth at home. We don’t have a set budget, but would like to work with something reasonable. My birth plan has minimal intervention unless medically necessary. I want an unmedicated birth, unsure if I prefer a water birth at this point or not, my husband will be with me. This is our first child so we’re learning as we go. I’d like delayed cord clamping until the cord is done pulsating, immediate skin to skin if possible, and we do want the erithromycin eye ointment and vitamin k for the baby as soon as recommended. Freedom of movement is very important to me so that I can keep myself distracted. Hoping to work with someone who is very good at communication and teaching. I feel more confident when I know all my options and outcomes. We would like to be transferred to a hospital if a problem is noticed, we don’t want to wait and see what happens.
