This is my second baby. I plan to have a hospital birth in Royal Oaks, Michigan. I would like for someone to be with me at the hospital - a birth doula. Separately, I would also love a postpartum doula for help and care post delivery.

Night doula needed most of the time. Would like to have someone who is responsible, reliable, careful and experienced with at least 3 years of constant working experiences. Primarily just for night baby sleep / training as needed.

First birth, want an at home style birth plan. I want as little reason to be at a hospital as possible. I have no insurance so I would pay out of pocket and would need to know when my fees are due so I can properly plan that. I will be stopping work by December. I am currently 17 weeks. I would prefer to have in person meetings as much as possible and my partner would like to be involved when possible. He has more questions than I, he does not understand midwifery or doulas, I am very comfortable with the idea and truly do not want to give birth at a hospital. My mom is a nurse and there is a chance she will want to be involved, which is okay. I see a Massage Therapist regularly who is a doula herself and gives me advice now and then.

This is our first baby. We are looking for postpartum support 1 to 2 days a week for assistance with the baby, light household assistance, and meal prep. I am hoping to breast-feed so having someone with experience in that would be helpful. I would like to eventually incorporate pumping so help with figuring out a pumping schedule would be great. We have two friendly dogs an Australian Shepherd and a corgi. We are using reimbursement through Progyny.
