I want to birth my baby at home. I live in Grand Rapids but came to Lansing for a few months. I’m unaware how this process begins or where to start.
I plan to give birth at a hospital. I plan on exclusive pumping but supplementing with formula when needed. No nursing at all.
Hello, My name is Kiley, and I’m reaching out to see if I can schedule a lactation consultation at your earliest convenience. We’re looking for some support with breastfeeding and would really appreciate your guidance. Specifically, I’m hoping to get help with: • Improving latch and positioning • Encouraging effective latching without a nipple shield (we’re currently using a shield on the left side and would love help weaning off of it) • Making sure our baby is getting optimal milk during feeds and gaining weight appropriately • Guidance on pumping and how to do that effectively in tandem with breastfeeding Overall, we’re looking for some foundational breastfeeding support to make sure we’re on the right track and to build confidence moving forward.
I'm looking for a lactation consultant that is covered by my insurance. This will be my first baby so I'd like to have guidance as I start breast-feeding, using a pump, and figuring everything out. I plan to give birth at a hospital.
Planning to give birth to my third baby at trinity health muskegon. Would like birth support for extra advocacy, postpartum support as I'm a graduate student, and need lactation support as I had failed exclusively breast feeding with my first two despite wanting to breast feed. I'm currently unsure of budget. I go with the flow in terms of birth. I had epidurals the first two times but would prefer not to. I'm not opposed to an epidural but would prefer to give birth pain medication free. I want my baby to receive vitamin k, b, and erythromycin, I want the baby to stay in the room with me at all times unless medically necessary, and want the cord delayed clamping until the cord is white. Currently working through making my birth plan and adding things as I decide upon them. Thank you for reading.
I can’t get my baby to have a deep latch. Or if I manage to at first, he always shortens it within a minute.
I need help on pumping breastmilk doe my baby, I dont feel like im producing enough or doing it right. Maybe get her to latch if its not too late.
Planning on a home birth with my four pregnancy. Planning an all natural birth, obviously if complications occur I need someone that can make the call to go to the hospital. Not exactly sure what my budget would be, but am looking for someone with a payment plan that I could use to pay for their services.
Help with my newborns latch. I use a shield because after 4 days of good latch he stopped latching im assuming bc I was engorged and I have large breasts
Lactation Consultant in kalamazoo. Feeding and sleep training
Preemie birth 4 weeks early, 2 weeks in the NICU and with a feeding tube. Does well with bottles but has trouble latching to breast. I'm wondering about possible tongue or lip ties, and also believe he's dealing with frequent reflux
I think I’m doing okay breastfeeding. It doesn’t hurt anymore and she is latching well. But how do I know if I’m supplying enough milk for her?
