Hi there! I’m expecting my first baby (a boy!) in January with my husband. I am shooting for a vaginal birth, unmedicated if I can but I am open to an epidural. Budget is pretty important to us and so is having someone that balances support for me, support for my husband who plans to be a very hands on birthing partner, and always following the professional medical advice of our OB and their team. Looking for someone with experience but also an open heart and mind and someone who will lead with support, non-judgement, and love.

this will be my first baby, planning to delivery unmediciated at Butterworth Hospital Grand Rapids MI. I would like the support during and post birth for myself and my husband. Ideally $2k or below.

I plan on birthing in Trinity health hospital in Grand rapids. I would like an unmedicated birth, and help with breath work and birthing positions, this is my first birth. I'd also like a delayed cord cutting and to have skin to skin as soon as possible. I'd also like to bath my own baby, and possibly have a more spiritual bathing experience at home for the first shower. I understand emergencies can happen as well and I'd like help being educated as much as possible along with educating my spouse. Also open to postpartum help afterwards only for a short while. I am currently looking for a birth doula to help support my husband and I while birthing our first child. Due to [personal details hidden] I am not a good candidate for an epidural and so am looking for someone to support me in an unmedicated birth. My nursing care team has been excellent at providing me multiple options and I am looking for someone who can support me in successfully delivering using natural methods. I am also looking for someone who can also support husband as well as he is amazing and wants to know confidently when best to offer certain help. Our budget is fairly flexible as having a doula is extremely important to our family. Currently we are planning to birth at Beacon in Kalamazoo so if you are able to be at that hospital that would be ideal.

We plan to give birth at Bronson I have Medicaid I would want my doula to help me with a birth plan ( I do know I want to do everything natural) I would want my doula to have a few years of experience
