I will be giving birth at the university of Iowa and am looking for someone to provide services mostly postpartum services as I will be having a C-section and this is my 6th babe (7th birth) that takes Iowa total care

Planning to have a c-section for my twin pregnancy. I also have a 1 year old. My husband is in the military, so we are unsure if he will be able to be home. I will likely have family helping with my toddler, but anticipate needing help with twin newborn care and some self care. Looking for a doula who accepts Tricare!

Someone to support a water birth that can assist at a birthing center or for a home birth.

I will be giving birth naturally in a hospital and would love to have a medical midwife attend. I will be delaying cord cutting and insisting on golden hour contact for myself and my husband. I would love to have a tub available, but definitely want to be prepared with holistic physical education about how to move, prepare, and position during labor, and best practices for recovery. I'd prefer to spend less than $3000 if possible, but quality of care is the priority.

DELIVERY When it's time to push, I'd like to be allowed to push when and how I feel I should. I'd like to choose the position I deliver in. I'd like to touch my baby's head as it crowns. I have TRICARE West Prime and am hoping to find a doula who accepts TRICARE and is familiar with the authorization process. I’m also hoping to work with a Christian doula whose support aligns with our faith and values. I’m looking for calm, encouraging labor support and would love to connect to see if we’d be a good fit. This is my first baby. My family lives in California and I live in Long Beach. So I’m in need of learning the do’s and don’ts of childbirth and afterbirth care. Also prepping my body for delivery. Ideally I would like to have a water birth because it seems safer for the baby and I. By research I’ve seen most doula’s cost $25 an hour. I do have insurance and I’m hoping that can help with the finances.
