I plan to give birth in a hospital because even though I have a vaginal birth with my 1st I had to have a C-Section with my 2nd because of an accident I had in between them, where I had exploratory surgery and uterus reconstruction. At this time, I’m in a different state of mind, I would say a more conscious view of things and while I wish I can give birth at home I know it would be a risk for me. I don’t have a clear budget because this is my first time doing this, but I’m willing to move forward if I find the right person. My birth plan would be delaying the cordt cutting so the baby can receive complete nutrients and cells that need. Also skin to skin touch, in a peaceful environment and supported with the right people beside me that know my story know my case, and that can support me and all ways. |

Emily is looking for Birth Doula
|
Location: Nacogdoches, TX, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: April 24, 2026
I plan to give birth at Nacogdoches Medical Center. I’m just trying to get a price and possibly having a doula available. This is our fifth kid so I know that birth plans are not set in stone and I understand that what I do want is to go all natural pain medication if needed. I wanna be able to get up and walk around and get in the shower and do some scratch use the peanut use the birthing ball drink eat I wanna be able to do all those things and not be tied to the bed and I also would like to try this time, not giving birth on my back last time our baby got stuck and was stuck for about a month. I was in labor for two weeks and finally had to get an epidural at 8 cm and have the doctor fix his shoulder to where I could have him so I would like to try maybe squatting this time or getting on all fours something different maybe to relieve that pressure and getting a better birthing position I don’t want anybody in the room with me except the Doula possibly and my husband. I’m open two nurses that are being trained unless it gets too much and I usually give my husband this look and he tells whoever he needs to to get everybody out, which is what happened when I was at 7 cm with our last baby and I knew something was wrong. |

|
Location: Sarona, WI 54870, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: August 15, 2026
This is my first pregnancy and both my partner and I will be first time parents. I’m looking for help understanding my body as baby and I continue to grow. I live far from my mother and sisters so it’s a very emotional time without that support. I would love to learn new things for baby safety, feeding, sleep as well as what’s good for me as I’m nourishing myself and baby. I plan to give birth in the hospital with very minimal interventions, but I’m currently unsure what a back up plan would look like and I could use some support with creating that backup plan. Our first birth plan is to be very intimate and peaceful but my partner can also use some understanding and learning points for how to support, and where, at the time of birth. Once baby arrives, my partner won’t have the opportunity to be home with us long, and I’m planning to be home for 2 months postpartum. We would absolutely love the night support and the continuous learning. We have family support but we really want the first week to be only us and baby, as well as have strong boundaries with family about baby with hygiene and safety so this is where the help would come in. I feel like there is more to discuss to better understand match, but I am still very new! |
