Hi! My name is Rebeca Gedeon and I am a certified birth doula located in Weatherford, TX. I love supporting moms in all labor and delivery locations, and with any kind of provider. My first experience with birth was when my mom delivered my brother under the supervision of a traditional midwife over 24 years ago. I have since had 6 children of my own, and those labors and deliveries fueled my passion for supporting moms. I have personal experience with twins and NICU. I have supported moms through their dream births as well as birth plans that needed adjustment for medically necessary reasons. One of my biggest strengths is supporting mom in what they wish, but also being able to slow down and explain what is going on if plans have to adjust rapidly. I will labor with you at home if you desire, even if you plan to transfer to another location, and I will follow you into the OR if needed and desired. I am not only a certified labor and birth doula, I have added training with body balancing techniques to help you and your body navigate labor. I am familiar with Spinning Babies techniques. I am a StillBirthday student doula. And I am currently in training to become a placenta encapsulation specialist. I am also a Christian doula and love to incorporate quiet prayer and intercession into my care when it is desired. I've watched the Lord work miracles for families and believe in the power of prayer in the labor space. Hello everyone, my name is Trisha. I live in Fort Worth, TX and I serve Fort Worth and Dallas. I recently moved here from New Jersey with my husband, 5 kids, cat and dog and I love it here! I have always wanted to be in birthwork, since I had my first child at 18, but never knew where I would fit in. A few years ago I learned what a doula was and knew that that was where I belong. I love all things pregnancy and childbirth and love to learn more about it. I have worked in restaurants my whole life so I am very good at multi tasking and thinking on my feet and solving problems. I am a newer doula, however I have been helping friends, co workers and family forever with childbirth. I love to be there to help during the most amazing time of everyone's lives and know what a privilege it is to be involved in such a emotional and private time. Hi, I’m Andrea Carter—founder of It Takes a Village, midwife, mother, and passionate birth advocate. Originally from Gary, Indiana, I made Dallas my home in 2015. Though I dreamed of becoming an OB/GYN as a child, it was my own powerful birth experiences that led me to step into the world of natural birth and begin my journey as a doula in 2016. ​Since then, I’ve had the honor of walking alongside over 160 families as a doula and supporting more than 300 families as a student midwife. I am a proud 2023 graduate of Southwest Technical College, and today I serve families as a staff midwife at Swiss Avenue Birth and Wellness Center, in addition to offering homebirth services throughout the DFW metroplex.​ ​ ​​ As a mother of four—each born naturally—I understand the beauty, strength, and vulnerability of birth firsthand. Hi! I'm Nayo a certified birth and postpartum doula. My approach to doula-ing is one that is very family centered. I love for my families to have all of the facts and then they make the best decision for them. I enjoy journeying with families through birth and postpartum. I'm a proud mama of two smart, rambunctious boys. I love to cook for and spend quality time with my family and friends. When birthing schedule allows, I also love travelling. I found my way to being a doula after the birth of my second baby. Though my pregnancy and birth were perfectly planned and perfectly played out, I had nothing setup and prepared for postpartum. Two days after I gave birth I was up making myself breakfast, getting my oldest off to school, and driving myself and new baby to his first pediatric appointment. I felt alone and isolated. Many days I would just cry from being overwhelmed. I told my doula and lactation consultant that as soon as I was healed I would train to be a postpartum doula so that no other families nor mom would have to suffer in silence. Now, as a birth and postpartum doula, I get to make sure that moms can have the birth they want, and a peaceful, sustainable life after their sweet baby has arrived. It's truly my passion to ensure families thrive through this wild time in their lives.

My name is Jordan Towns and I have served the role as an Emotional Support Coach/Companion for over two decades to women and men encountering a full range of life encounters. It was in Spring 2023 that my journey to become a Doula was initiated and what a journey indeed it has been. Marked by my strong ancestral roots and divine gifting coupled with an experience that allowed me to grow deeper in tune with my body as a woman and what it means to be empowered and supported in my connection to it, I moved to become a Birth Doula and completed my formal training with Doulas of North America International in the “Art of Labor Support.” Now I have the honor of providing continuous, culturally appropriate support, non-medical advice, and physical comfort coaching to women and their partners during pregnancy, the birth ceremony, and the adjustment period after. In my case, my passion for birth work stems from personal experience as a wife and mother of two beautiful souls. The miraculous and empowering births I experienced sparked within me a desire to guide and support others on their own journeys through pregnancy and childbirth. However, my path to becoming a birth doula was not without obstacles. Before conceiving my oldest, I faced some difficult pregnancy losses. To help heal and cope with these losses, I turned to writing and expressed my feelings through a love letter or poem dedicated to my future rainbow baby.
