I live in The Colony, TX with my son Elliot, my husband Dennis, and our giant dog Franklin. My love for birth was born during my pregnancy with Elliot. I was always totally scared of labor, but after hiring a doula and diving into my own education and research... my fear turned into faith. As I learned how beautiful pregnancy and birth can be + how different your experience can be if you are educated and informed + how much you really are in control of... it all became less scary. I am a doula and a yoga practitioner in Frisco and the Dallas-Forth Worth Metroplex, and I have a Masters of Arts in Physical Activity and Health from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Bavaria, Germany. I speak German and English. I have lived, studied and worked in three different countries and international life is my normal. I like to say that I was born in Canada, I grew up in Germany, and now, I am raising my own family in Frisco, Texas. I spent the first few years of life in a household with my maternal grandmother, learning first hand what it means to care for and nurture a woman. I believe every woman has the right to a safe and healthy pregnancy and birth experience. For over 15 years, I have been working with women, as they journey through what it takes to become pregnant, sustain pregnancy, care for a new life and grieve through pregnancy or infant loss. This is my passion! I am here to support, encourage, inform, teach and honor your wishes from fertility through pregnancy, birth and loss.

A Dallas native, Madison was inspired to be a doula as far back as elementary school when she and her older sister watched TLC’s A Baby Story in the early 2000s. Madison completed DONA International Training March 2020. Since 2020, Madison has assisted mothers through VBACs, C-Sections, vaginal births with and without epidurals, home births, birthing center births and hospital births. Madison passionately encourages all pregnant mothers to have a doula who advocates for and is totally focused on the mother’s desires, comfort, and endurance. She builds a relationship her clients before, during and after birth experiences and stays up-to-date on the latest techniques and tools to make the birthing process the best it can be. Madison is a placenta encapsulator and loves talking about all things related to birth. Madison has worked as a nanny for many years since college and has a flexible schedule. My name is Genicia Battle, known in the Ifá community as Ifáfúnké Àṣọre. I am a Full Circle Doula and Birth Companion, trained through the SMC Full Circle Doula Birth Companion Training. A program rooted in the cultural, historical, and spiritual traditions of African American midwifery and birth work. I became a doula because every birthing person deserves to feel seen, supported, and spiritually connected throughout their journey.
