15 month old, no difficulties with latch since he was about 1 month old. Recently areola is cracking and fissures are starting. I have put lanolin but it is not improving. Not sure if his latch is worsening the cuts. It hurts a lot to continue nursing (only on left side).

I would like support during pregnancy with education, preparing for labor, helping me understand my options, and creating a birth plan/preferences document. During labor, I’m looking for someone calm and supportive who can help me advocate for myself, ask questions, and help me process decisions without pressure unless medically necessary. Postpartum support is my biggest priority. I would like help with recovery, breastfeeding/pumping support, newborn guidance, emotional reassurance, and preparing to return to work as an elementary teacher. I am hoping to breastfeed/pump and would value someone knowledgeable about lactation and pumping for working moms. I am open to holistic approaches as long as they are grounded in research and evidence-based care. I am not looking for an anti-medical approach and am comfortable with hospital care and interventions when medically necessary. I would prefer someone experienced with first-time moms and familiar with Pomona Valley Hospital or the surrounding area (La Verne/Claremont/Upland/Pomona).

I would love some birthing support! Hoag Irvine birth center or Providence Mission Viejo is where I will give birth. This is my second baby, and the first time I got the epidural but it didn’t work. I would love to learn new positions and other pain relief during birth and not use the epidural. My husband is deployed now, and might not be there for the birth.

Hi! I’m a 21-year-old married mom of a 2-year-old, currently pregnant with my second baby and going through a separation from my husband. I’m a Christian, and I’m really looking for a doula who can support me physically, emotionally, and spiritually throughout this pregnancy and birth. I’m hoping to have an unmedicated, natural birth and would love to learn breathing techniques, labor positions, and different coping strategies to help me prepare. I’m honestly scared, and one of my biggest goals is to have a positive birth experience and to avoid tearing entirely if possible. I want to learn everything I can to prepare my body and reduce my risk of tearing. I also want to learn more about nutrition during pregnancy, including organic foods and understanding healthy versus less-healthy carbohydrates. I plan to breastfeed again and would love support with preparing for that as well. I also have questions about healthy weight management during pregnancy and postpartum and would love guidance on how to safely care for my body while making sure my baby is properly nourished. My husband and I are separated, but I would like him to be able to learn how to support me during pregnancy and birth if he is willing. I would appreciate a doula who can help educate both of us on what genuine, respectful support can look like during labor and delivery. As a Black mother and woman, I’m also very aware of the disparities and racism Black women can face within the healthcare system. Having someone who can advocate for me, help me understand my options, and make sure my voice is heard and respected during such a vulnerable experience is extremely important to me. I really want to feel safe, informed, empowered, and supported throughout this journey.

My son is almost 4 weeks. I have a great supply and his latch is excellent, he unfortunately doesn’t get full from my breasts for an unknown reason. We have done every method from keeping him awake to switching breasts etc… but my breastmilk in a bottle fills him up greatly. Single mom of 7.5 week old twins who have been both breast-fed and bottle-fed since birth (I usually breast-feed and bottle feed to top them off each feeding during the daytime (and also pump in the AM and PM before bed to add to bottles), but give formula bottles only overnight while I am sleeping and the night nanny is with them). Both twins are now becoming very fussy with breast-feeding at some feeding sessions (but not at others). Tandem feeding worked before but has not been possible for 5-6 days because of fussiness while feeding and unpredictability of breast supply. Wondering if I need a new strategy or if this is just a fussy stage (6-8 weeks)?
