About Franchesca

Greetings, I'm Franchesca, a devoted caregiver with a heart as big as the ocean and a passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others. I raise three amazing young men and two beautiful daughters, and caregiving comes naturally to me. I thrive on providing love, support, and guidance to everyone around me. My caregiving experience runs deep. I owned and operated a family group daycare, where I nurtured children, supported their families, and built a trusted home-based program from the ground up. I also served as a supervisor of a group home for adults with disabilities, where I led a care team, advocated for residents, and protected their dignity, independence, and well-being every day. As a member of the National Black Doula Association, I serve my community and empower individuals and families throughout their unique journeys. I am currently working toward certification as a Lactation Counselor because I believe in the transformative power of breastfeeding and in giving new parents informed, compassionate support. With a caring and calm demeanor, I create a nurturing environment where everyone feels valued, heard, and respected. Whether I am lending a helping hand during the postpartum period, offering guidance on breastfeeding and infant care, or providing a listening ear and a shoulder to lean on, I support you every step of the way. When I am away from caring for others, you can find me soaking up the sun at the beach or hitting the dance floor to the rhythm of life. I find joy in simple pleasures and embrace each moment with gratitude and enthusiasm. I'm thrilled to connect with you and begin this journey together. Life with a newborn drains your energy. The late-night feedings, the endless laundry, and the cluttered nursery pile up while you run on empty. You deserve real rest, and your baby deserves a parent who feels refreshed and present.I step in so you can sleep and recover. Here is how I help:•Overnight baby care: I stay up with your baby through the night so you get the deep rest your body needs.•Feeding support: I handle feedings and bring your baby to you when it is time to nurse.wash, fold, and put away baby clothes and linens.•Baby space organization: I arrange the nursery, diapering station, and feeding area so everything stays within easy reach.•Light home organization: I tidy and organize key areas of your home so you wake up to a calm, orderly space.
