I’m giving birth in a hospital due to my pre-existing Type 1 diabetes (so far no complications but I want to be prepared in case intervention is needed for me or baby). I will be giving birth at Hackensack University Hospital in Hackensack New Jersey I would like to stay under 2k for a doula I am very open to epidurals and medical intervention but want to arm myself with the knowledge to labor for as long as I can without medical intervention and if possible, and I feel empowered to do so, have a natural birth.
