I’m currently 6 months pregnant with my first baby and I’m very excited. I have been getting care with the OBGYN but I’m yet to still have met with my actual docotor. I’ve only seen students and residents and have no relationship built with my doctor who is supposed to assist me in birth. As a woman delivering for the first time I would like a more personal experience and get to know who would be assisting me on a personal level. Overall I’ve been disappointed with the OBGYN care I’ve received and decided to try out your midwife program instead! I’m looking to give birth in the hospital rather than a home birth but would like to receive the at home midwife care and make a personal connection and learn more about childbirth.

I believe I have to give birth at the hospital as I’ve had a c-section (followed by a successful VBAC). I would like to labor as little as possible in the hospital. My goal is to utilize more laboring positions/techniques for a natural birth if possible to do so.

I plan to give birth at home in Ocala, I just had my firstborn via elective C-section last year in September. I would love someone rooted in their walk with Jesus, and I need someone who accepts Sunshine Health.

I am mostly interested in preparing my body for labor, learning positions, breathing techniques. Also very important for me to have support during labor and an extra advocate in the hospital beside my husband that will also be with me. I had a bad hospital experience last time and felt lost during labor despite using the typical labor classes, so I would love to have direction when needed during labor. I am a Christian so faith is very important to me and it would be nice to connected to someone of like faith, though it is not absolutely necessary either.
