Caroline is looking for Birth Doula
|
Location: Salisbury, MD 21801, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: December 05, 2026
I just found out my husband and I are expecting! For the past two years, I have become fascinated with the thought of having an unmedicated birth. I'd consider myself pretty educated in the birth world (also because I grew up with a mom who worked in Labor and Delivery as a nurse). I'd love to labor at home as long as I can and then transfer over to the hospital. My dream would be a birth center, but there isn't any near me. I would love it to just be my husband and I with the support and help from a doula. I'm looking for someone who can help advocate for me during labor, especially in a hospital setting. |

Due date or baby's birthday: December 25, 2025
1. Women’s and Babies Hospital in Lancaster, PA. 2. Extremely limited budget. I just found out, at 6 months pregnant, that my husband has been having an affair for a year and a half, and wants to leave me, our unborn baby and my 3 year old son. I am so emotionally distraught. I don’t want to have to give birth alone in a hospital. 3. As natural as possible. We don’t do vaccines. |

Due date or baby's birthday: June 03, 2026
I am hoping for a VBAC after a semi-traumatic cesarean experience. I believe my best chances to achieve this would be through help of a doula and a midwife, as the current OB I see pushed for an early induction last time and I can feel that's the direction she's pushing for this second pregnancy. The OB only pushed for induction and brought up cesarean based on baby's projected size. First son was 8lbs 12.5oz at birth; so not small, but certainly not over 10lbs as they had insisted. My current plan is to give birth at Henrico Doctor's Hospital (where I delivered my first), but am open to other options such as a home birth or a birthing center. I would love to try for unmedicated this go around. I am not a high-risk pregnancy, I have a healthy BMI, baby is healthy, no gestational diabetes, no markers for preeclampsia or hypertension, so I believe and feel strongly that I can attempt a VBAC + TOLAC. |

|
Location: Elverson, PA 19520, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: July 03, 2026
I recently found out I’m pregnant. I’m very interested in having a midwife as my primary provider, and I’d also like to work with a doula who collaborates well with midwives during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I would like to deliver at Paoli Hospital or Pottstown Hospital, whichever is most appropriate based on my care team and availability. I would like an estimate of the cost for prenatal care and delivery with a midwife. Is my insurance accepted, and what would my out-of-pocket expenses likely be? Birth plan and preferences for your reference: Labor & Pain Management: • Prefer non-medical pain relief first: walking, changing positions, hydrotherapy (shower/bath), breathing techniques. • Intermittent fetal monitoring preferred over continuous, unless medically indicated. • Avoid routine interventions (induction, episiotomy, continuous IV fluids) unless medically necessary. • Open to midwife/OB guidance if complications arise. Delivery Preferences: • Upright positions, hands-and-knees, or side-lying for pushing. • Immediate skin-to-skin with baby after birth. • Delayed cord clamping. • Gentle delivery techniques for both mother and baby. Newborn Care: • Breastfeeding as soon as possible. • Limit unnecessary newborn procedures. |

I am looking for extra in any support that I can at the moment I’m currently going through a divorce and my husband is not going to be a part of any of the process or the babies life. I plan to give birth at a hospital. I’m not sure what my budget is right now as I am new to all of this so I don’t know where it ranges and also I don’t have a birth plan because I’m not sure what that’s supposed to look like this is all very new to me and I’m under a lot of anxiety and I don’t even know where to start. |

|
Location: Exton, PA 19341, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: June 30, 2026
I am considering using a doula for emotional support during child birth and postpartum. I am looking for someone who knows hands on techniques for pain management and anxiety during childbirth and helps with self care and emotional support after child birth. I am 40 years old and this is my first pregnancy. Cost is a concern. I don't really know how much these services cost but I'm not able to spend more than $1500 and would like to keep it under that. |

Shanci is looking for Midwife, Birth Doula, Lactation Consultant

Location: Dalmatia, PA 17017, USA
Due date or baby's birthday: March 27, 2026
I’ve had 3 miscarriages in the last 5 years. My fourth pregnancy, 2 years ago was a healthy, full term baby who is now 2 and doing amazing with no complications during my pregnancy or my delivery. I’m now 21 weeks pregnant with my second son and my experience with UPMC has been nothing but stressful and uninformative. My charts have yet to be corrected for the last 2- 3 months I’ve been going to them. I’m at the point where I don’t feel like my doctors are listening or caring about my wishes/concerns. I am starting to lean towards a home birth with minimal intervention. With my son I got to 9 1/2 cm dilated before I got my epidural last minute and had no issues or barely any discomfort with my contractions. This one is a bit more uncomfortable and I would like to try to do the same as before but without medicine. I have no issue going to a birthing center if need be, I know the travel home with my last hurt me a lot so I was hoping to minimize the distance of travel for my second time around. I also had issues with my son latching for breastfeeding and went to see a lactation consultant twice but she took over an hour to come see us each time which resulted in my son screaming of hunger so I would end up bottle feeding him before she’d come as she took too long and then refused to help us when she heard he was bottle fed so I would like to learn more about breastfeeding if possible either through classes or having someone help me after birth. Our budget is probably $2500-4000. I’m not sure what my insurance covers but would love to look into it more with someone if we can. I’m at the point where I don’t trust my current providers, as too much has gone wrong or missed and I just want to cancel all appointments until I give birth so I’m hoping this is a better alternative for me. |
