Live in King and Queen county. Delivering at Riverside in Newport News. I have Anthem Healthkeepers thru Medicaid. I’ve had C-section in 2001. Vbac in 2005,2008,2013,2017. And a C-section in 2024. I’d like to have a vbac again. I have no partner to be there, although we live in the same house, we are not together. I don’t have much help now or will after the delivery.

we plan to give birth at Bon Secour St. Mary's hospital. We're first time parents but are a little older (32 & 40) and would love some extra help in the delivery room and after birth. So far we've had very few complications and are hoping to have a natural birth with an epidural for pain management with very few if any friends and family around.

I plan to give birth in the hospital. Estimated budget $1,000 - $2,000. For our birth plan, I plan to go natural and do breathing techniques and manage the pain on my own. If I need intervention then I may opt for Epidural. But I still would like to be in positions fitted for having the epidural. I do not want to labor on my back. I am planning to get an epidural if possible and would like guidance with using a peanut ball and laboring in different positions instead of only delivering on my back. I may want to try all-fours on the bed or side-lying with one leg supported. I also prefer for the placenta to remain attached until it stops pulsating. I currently have Blue Cross Blue Shield FEP (lowest plan) and would like to know if any portion can be reimbursed.
