Help with breastfeeding. Baby is not staying latched. Might be milk transferring issues. Will latch in the morning but struggles in the afternoon. Would love to be able to exclusively breastfeed. I don't think i have the right flange for my pump and have been getting low outputs. Need help! I am apart of carefirst blue cross blue shield and would like for a 100% to be covered.

I tried to breastfeed my last child but she absolutely wouldn’t latch. I think I have flat nipples so she wouldn’t latch without a nipple shield that was too painful to use. I tried to pump but never had any milk output, I don’t even think I had colostrum. I don’t know if I was just doing it wrong or if I just didn’t have any milk. Because I don’t know what I was doing wrong, I don’t know how to do it right this time round. I think I need a prenatal appnt to figure out how to size everything right, methods, nipple healing when it hurts too much, tools and products to use. I don’t even know how much milk I should be able to get out in the first weeks or how to store and make use of pumped milk because I never got the chance to learn it. I’d like someone experienced and gentle. I don’t do well with blunt, tough love, especially postpartum. Lower budget would be nice but I don’t have much idea of what a consultant costs

I am 26 years old and this is my first child so I would like someone to just give me advice and basically be there for me through this journey. I would like to give birth at a birthing center close to a hospital if I need to go to it, but I am not opposed to going to the hospital I just don't want to have the baby on my back. My budget is under $2,000 preferably. I also would like to try and breast feed to know what drinks or food I can intake now to help with that. I am also a picky eater so helping me come up with a balanced diet would also be a great help as well. I just would like to prep on what I should be doing each month and things I need to order so that I can already have it before the baby comes.

I had a c section in Sept of 2024 and want to try for a vbac this time around. I plan to give birth at Prince William hospital UVA. I would like to have a medicated vbac but would like to labor as long as possible without the epidural. I would like an experienced Doula with extensive vbac experience. My budget is around $1000

My milk came in slowly and then I was starting to gain it and would get up to 7-8 ounces every pump and then for some reason it just dropped and I would get .25-2 ounces every pump and I’ve tried hydromom water packets, colostrum supplements, hand pumps, hand expressions, warm compressions, massaging before and during pumps, drinking lots of water, pumping every 2 hours and in taking protien and unless I’m drinking body armors my breast won’t fill and I’m barely getting anything out during pumping sessions I was drinking them alot at first then when my milk production dropped I stopped drinking them to see if it would go back up then started trying the rest of what I’ve tried

We live in Hanover, plan to birth in Carlisle. Looking for a home birth experience in a hospital setting. Unmedicated if possible, with minimal intervention. History of infertility and loss. Strong personality and need someone who can work with that. Looking for prenatal, birth and postpartum support. Experience with breastfeeding, baby wearing and cloth diapers is a plus. Definitely want someone with experience in movement techniques to optimize baby's positioning. My insurance covers 1200 per year and we can go a bit above that. Bonus points if we can split billing or do a visit in the new year to use both years benefits. Insurance requires a tax ID number and an invoice.
